Jupiter with Red Spot
Jupiter with the Great Red Spot, I'd been having some problems getting an image of Jupiter so I decided to try with the society's telescope. I really wanted to get the Red Spot in the picture and I knew it would pop out from behind Jupiter about 11:30pm. The image was taken on the second of two very cold nights and the end of February and beginning of March so I was careful to cool the telescope down before use. I'm very pleased with the results.
