Pluto is (or was, before it was demoted!) the furthest planet from the Sun. Long before the New Horizons spacecraft gave us any close-up images of Pluto and its satellites, the Hubble Space Telelscope used its extremely clear vision to look into the furthest reaches of our Solar Sysytem to pick out the best details yet seen on Pluto, and this globe is based on that (now quite old) set of images. See whether you can match any of the features Hubble saw with those returned by New Horizons.
Here is a simple and easy to construct globe of this odd member of our solar family, as the Hubble Space Telescope saw it.
